What was the highlight of Ona Alborada
Good
The swimming pool was good. Nice, modern apartments with a large balcony area. Apartment was lovely and clean and provided essentials for cooking etc and staff were very approachable and friendly. Good location with good transport links to and from Los Cristianos/Las Americas and shops for local convenience across the road.
Although the apartment was lovely, the front of the hotel is an eye sore and the overall building could do with a general touch up to go with the renovated apartments. The lack of air conditioning added to some discomfort during the stay and the only alternative to this, other than a fan in the main room, is to pay a €10 deposit for a fan and €1.50 a day you wish to keep it.

Wonderful
The pool is really good.
The room was not cleaned by the staff for check-in as stay was less than a week. We were not aware of this and we had to clean the room ourselves.

Great pool, would go back.
The pool is fantastic and alone worth the stay. Nice spacious rooms with private balconies. Quiet. Staff were all lovely, reception, cleaners and lifeguard. Felt safe. Good little kitchen. Bus stops are convenient. Near airport.
Rooms need AC, or at least mosquito nets (went in August). Fan needed in living room. No food on site (they're probably rebuilding) except pool bar. Minor issues with cleaning in room. Some cockroaches, many mosquitos.
